I cannot recommend 1ComputerCare more highly. Eugene is always there to sort out computing problems for us: we would be lost without his great knowledge and competence. While the media and friends were recently full of horror stories on traumas following upgrading to Windows10, Eugene did this for me seamlessly. My latest aggravation has been with my laptop refusing to send my printer the command to print. On the internet we found that we were not alone: others had experienced the same problem and had been unable to resolve it. No problem for Eugene: my printer is back in action! Eugene has been our computer 'guru' for many years and it is a great comfort to know that he is there should we need help. We count ourselves very fortunate to have met him.

We had received a notification on our computer screen purporting to be from Microsoft saying that we needed to allow their independent consultant remote access to remove viruses and that if we logged off without calling the number provided, microsoft would have to diable our computer as it had too many viruses. I made the mistake of calling this number as I had not received a notification like this before. I spoke to a man who claimed that 50 - 55% of our internal security had stopped working and that I needed to pay him £160 for 6 months or £240 for a year's protection. When I expressed surprise as we have Eugene upgrade our protection regularly, he said that this was not something our local guy was capable of sorting out ! I told him I needed to speak to my husband and to Eugene before giving authority. Eugene said it was almost certainly a scam and to switch the computer off immediately so that they could not access it [further]. He came and collected the computer promptly, mended it promptly and brought it back for much less than the amounts quoted. I most appreciated the guidance about dealing with scams and hoax phone calls (I have had one today and put the phone straight down).

Eugene Gardner responded very quickly to my call for help, took my computer to his workshop and soon diagnosed that my hard disc drive had failed. He suggested I replace it with a Hybrid 500GB which he ordered and fitted. He was able to reinstall windows 7 and recover my old files after finding a lot of corruption when my old disk was cloned to the new. I appreciated his emails and telephone calls keeping me informed of progress and also the offer of the loan of a computer. The offer of 15 minutes free support a month am sure might prove very useful. Having returned it to me as good as new he was able to deal by remote connection with one or two concerns. I feel his fee was very reasonable and will definitely get my computer serviced regularly instead of waiting for a near catastrophe !  I would readily recommend 1ComputerCare

As a Charity run Nursery we have limited money to spend on issues with our computers. As we use them for so many of our day to day transactions we need to have someone that we can call upon as and when issues occur. We need to have them resolved as quickly as possible. We have never had to wait very long (usually the same day) to have the issues sorted. The latest issue was regarding scanning documents to be sent as an attachment via email. We have two new laptops that were not set up to do this and we had no idea how to go about this. I was able to scan the documents before the end of the day, after ring in the morning this was such a big help.

[Assistance with purchase of new computer] What I most appreciated was Eugene working with me to determine my requirements and then getting everything organised including taking me through how the new system worked compared to the old. And getting my ipad compatible with my main system. Three weeks ago I never thought I would be using Skype with confidence ! Nothing to improve from my perspective. I needed face to face support to provide confidence in moving from an old, but understood, system to the new. Eugene provided that throughout and, as importantly, made it clear that I should contact him if I have issues. It was clear that Eugene is after making customers happy above profit for himself. No minor irritations - basically Eugene did what he said he would do and kept me informed.

My Apple MacBook Pro fixed efficiently with extras at no cost in just a few days that included a bank holiday weekend. Elimination of threatening Malware and subsequent update of operating system and installation of new virus protection. The latter two at no additional cost.. I have only recently had Eugene recommended to me by a very trusted friend and I have found him exceptional in his knowledge, great experience in computer hardware and software matters. He has had a new computer built for me that fully meets my requirements whilst not any excess features which has saved me a great deal of money.
